The Name of VxD

VxD means Virtual Device Driver, which is a type of device driver that runs in the virtual 8086 mode of Intel 80386 and later processors. VxDs were used in Microsoft Windows 3.x and Windows 9x operating systems to provide access to hardware devices and system resources from within virtual machines.
